Not such a good typer but this place was exceptional. Anyway, I had a real good time there and spent both more time and more money than I thought I would.

I was able to do all my shopping for things to take home to friends and family here. For co-workers the $2.49 prickly pear cactus and mesquite bean jellies were perfect, as were the locally made dark chocolate truffles and turtles with chile. For my wife I found a wonderful American Indian

Sha'Nn Gifts & Custom Tile(575) 524-8209

Last year I contacted Sha'nn to purchase a trivet tile for my cousin who lives nearby the store. Sha'nn was very gracious and efficient, and the gift was delivered on time in a gift box with a pretty ribbon and card. My cousin was very pleased with her gift and I was very pleased by the experience.

Senor Murphy has been around since before I was born and is a Santa Fe institution. Locals and people who moved away and come back for a visit can't help but pick up a box of pinon toffee or bolitas. I've been to a lot of places and with the exception of a few places in europe Senor Murphy

Tito's Gallery(505) 425-3745

Wow! What an amazing gallery. Wonderful, high-quality artwork by local artisans, for so much less than one finds in nearby Santa Fe and Taos. Between the affordable artwork and the charming old town Plaza, this place is worth the stop, just off of I-25.

The Abiquiu Inn(505) 685-4378

We stayed at one of casitas on one weekend in March. It was very nice and cozy - we had a fire place in the living room, small kitchen, and beds were comfortable. There are not much around the hotels, so if you're not looking for a convinience and want some isolated feels, this place is perfect.

This Confectionary Giant has been around Santa Fe for over 30 years and for good reason! Each scrumptous piece is still hand made and a good portion of their products contain local ingredients like pinon and even red chile powder. There is a reason we wait in long lines at Christmas time to

Or day(s).I've been to this one a couple of times and the service from the wait staff just isn't up to par. I've had to remind them about bringing bread and the wait on the food has been interminable at times, to the point of it being cold. And it's been addressed with management each time.
