It was a nice place, until one day I went there and all the old familiar faces was gone, then the next time, the doors were locked. The website still says there open late, I called, a gentleman advised me it was slow so we close, new owners rules. Now the hours they close at 3 PM. no more live

The Barrel is a favorite place for local Ham operators to meet. Along with good food and a pleasant atmosphere they treat groups very well. Our local group meets there once a month, drop me a line and I will let you know when.

This little gift shop looks small on the outside but is stuffed full of wonderful things on the inside. Looking for great gifts or home decor this shop is a treasure chest. I stopped in to look for gourmet teas and was swept away with the beauty inside this building.

This is not your typical local candy store. Went in with a friend last week and we sampled a modjeska, never having heard of one before (a Louisville tradition). Mind-blowingly good is all I have to say. Buttery caramel wrapped around melt-in-your mouth marshmallowy goodness. :) A must try.

These people know how to treat their customers! Their products are fantastic. You have to try the soy based body cream. All products are hand made on site. It's very cool to watch them making candles & soap.

If it's Irish, it's in this store. I've found that if it isn't, the owner will not hesitate to order it for you.br Selection is impressive. Liza has done very well with the limited space she has. She makes up for the lack of space with service the likes of which won't be found anywhere else.
