Shopping and ordering online for nice windsocks and jewelry. Prompt delivery, they use USPS Priority Mail, and I receive my orders in about five days.

Cathedral gift shop is a little hole in the wall shop that's been there for a couple of decades. The people there are quick to help and they were basically the only place I could find what I was looking for in particular. A very nice mom and pop operation.

Okay, THIS is my favorite bookstore in Hilo. These are not the average 'mainstream' books that you can find anywhere. Plus, there are nice little gift items, including Hawaiian knick knacks, music CD's, and amazing maps. It's a very pleasant, uniquely-Hilo, environment.

What a cute little fabric and quilt store. They have handmade quilts that are Aloha themed and unique. They carry specialized Asian and Hawaiian fabrics that are very difficult to find anywhere else.
