Very friendly and helpful sales staff. Great selection of unique gifts & books and information about Alaska displayed well. Not your usual touristy place-no junk here. A lot of items are actually made in the USA!

Loved this shop! They had the most wonderful, unique gifts. I bought quite a few items & was thrilled. Then somehow between there & the ship I lost the bag. After contacting them thru the cruise ship, they shipped me a new order. THAT was customer service.

By far one of my favorite place in Fairbanks, AK they not only have fudge and caramel apples. But they have lunch too. Soup and Sandwhichs! Love it and also gifts!

This store had a great assortment of good quality souveniers. I was very happy especially with a photo album they sold with an Alaska theme on the cover. Everyone who has seen the album love my Alaska photo's as well as the Alaska album. I wish I had bought two. I am going to see if they can

I do not know who those people came in contact with, but my visit was great. I live in Fairbanks and my husband and I took his visiting sister who had just completed Army Basic Training to the Santa Claus House this holiday season. Everyone was very nice and it did not cost a dime to see Santa

This store has the best ice cream. They are very generous servings for a very reasonable price. The alaskan gifts are great also.

One of our favorite stops while we are in Anchorage. They have a fantastic selection of stones, fossils and local rocks from Alaska. Our purchases from Stars of Alaska are always one of our favorite treasures.

Fantastic shop owned and operated by a wonderful Fairbanks family. They have a wide selection of gift ideas, crystal and fine china along with hard to find and unique gifts for just about everyone on your list. The customer service is outstanding. you won't find a nicer, more helpful bunch

Went for lunch yesterday. Food was OK. Service was fine, but when I asked for a soft drink refill, I was told it was another $2 for a lousy 12 oz. Coke! Are you kidding me?!? I may be back for the nightlife, but I won't be back for lunch. Thirsty in Anchorage

Great selection of local alaskan made artwork, native made artwork as well as knowledge of the artists. Have something for everyone whether it be origional prints, cards, pottery, native masks or a special trinket for a child.

The people there are great, they really know how to brighten some ones day and make people smile. They have more variety in jewelry and culture than anyplace you can imagine. Its worth the trip to the Dimond Center. they have a sign above there desk that says 'Enter as Strangers, Leave As Friends'

I stopped by to buy a Gift Certificate for a friend, and the place was a mess, it smelled, and looked generally nasty, so I didn't buy the gift. I stopped in last week to pick up another friend and the place had done a 180 degree turn. The new owner's have done great things with the place.

Loved shopping there. Have been to the shop in 2002 and 2005 and even call and purchase gift items for special occasions such as weddings or just for my personal use. The sales personnel are very helpful - certainly one of the best in the entire state.

The art museum is so-so, but the natural history portion is outstanding considering the size of Anchorage. Also go to the Alaskan Native Heritage Center after if you're interested in that aspect of Alaska.

Smoothies are better than others around and very flavorful! I'm addicted to their boba drinks as well. You gotta try their Blue Hawaii, Mango, Halo-Halo and/or Honeydew!
