I moved to Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, USA, Planet Earth in May 2006 and opened Celestial Creations Enchanted Gifts of New Mexico to bring to the buying public merchandise they couldn't find anywhere else. From a few dozen local artists & artisans, I grew the place to representing the work of people & companies from all over New Mexico and a few from states that border NM.

Plan on spending at least an hour to be able to see everything. Prices vary greatly. I was able to do all my shopping for things to take home to friends and family here. For co-workers the $2.49 prickly pear cactus and mesquite bean jellies were perfect, as were the locally made dark chocolate truffles and turtles with chile. For my wife I found a wonderful American Indian turquoise necklace. And they have lots of souvenir stuff with Truth or Consequences on it that are really made in NM. What I really liked is how the owner Celeste knows all the details about almost every item - the artisan, the stones etc. It made for a great shopping experience. And I found out they have a new internet shopping cart now, too. I found out about this place from trip advisor. Would you recommend this business to a friend?
